Job description

Directly integrated into a project team within a major Finance and Investment Bank, managing price creation and contribution activities for foreign exchange products.

This unit is in charge of developing pricing, contribution and risk analysis applications for electronic markets. These applications meet stringent performance and quality requirements. These are pricing and contribution applications for foreign exchange products. These applications use C# .Net 3.5 and .Net 4.5 technologies (n-tier architecture), WPF, multithreading.

The missions

  • Develop these applications in compliance with technical and functional constraints for Spot, Swap and Forward transactions
  • Meet the needs of business units in terms of day-to-day support and problem analysis.
  • Implement several upgrades to its technical base.
  • Develop the application while respecting technical and functional constraints for the FxOption part.
  • Entities’ need for support and analysis of day-to-day problems,
  • Multi-threaded development in C#,
  • RMDS and Tibco
  • Monitoring in an international environment
  • Development
  • Validation tests
  • Production start-ups
  • Detailed technical documentation
  • Delivery package (code + executables + installation procedures)
  • Test report and detailed results.
Profile sought

Engineering degree or similar (Bac+5)

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role

Initial experience in the Banking/Finance sector is desirable but not a prerequisite

Mastery of agile methodologies and craftsmanship required

Fluency in English (international context)
