Job description

Working for one of our customers specializing in asset trading on the energy market, you will be part of a Front Office team working on various programming languages.

Missions:
The mission will be structured around different tasks, linked to the role of this team:

  • Ensure continuity of service for the applications under his/her responsibility
  • Develop Excel sheets, Python or C# programs to meet trading needs
  • Set up industrial tools that can be taken over by a global support team
  • Être force de proposition pour trouver des solutions pragmatiques aux besoins du trading
  • Liaise with Front Office on functional issues (risk, P&L analysis, strategy).
Profile sought

Engineering degree or equivalent

Good analytical skills, especially when gathering requirements

Strong taste for field work, motivation, autonomy, proactivity

Good stress and pressure management in a trading room environment

Good level of English, ability to converse in English

Technical skills required :

  • Proficiency in several programming languages: VBA, Python, C#
  • Good expertise in relational database languages (ideally Oracle)

Functional skills required :

  • Front-office experience (pricing, risk, ticketing)
  • Good knowledge of market products (Reuters, Bloomberg, Summit)
