Job description

Are you motivated by critical environments, local support and technical interactions within complex systems?

On behalf of our customers, we are recruiting technical and functional application support engineers to work on strategic banking information system projects, both in France and abroad.

Your role:

As Application Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining critical applications (Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Compliance, etc.) in operational condition, while guaranteeing a high level of availability and quality of service.

Your main tasks :

  • Ensure the smooth operation of business applications in the production environment
  • Work closely with MOE/MOA and Infrastructure teams to resolve application anomalies
  • Manage incidents and requests (handling, analysis, resolution, communication)
  • Participate in on-call duty according to a defined schedule
  • Write functional and technical documentation (in English)
  • Monitor and update ticket backlogs and ensure regular reporting of activities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes, by reviewing the quality of tickets and monitoring action plans.
  • Participate in the development of team skills through the formalization of training materials

Technical Environment :

  • Languages & Tools: SQL (advanced), Shell scripting
  • Systems: Unix
  • Schedulers: CTRLM or equivalent
  • Notions of application development appreciated
  • ITIL methodology (incident & problem management) is a plus
Profile sought

Engineering degree or Master’s in IT (Bac+5)

You have at least 2 years’ experience in an application support environment, ideally in banking.

You have a real appetite for problem-solving, rigorous documentation and teamwork.

Fluency in written and spoken English (TOEIC / TOEFL appreciated)
