Job description

We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst to support one of our customers, a major player in the banking sector in Casablanca.

Your main mission will be to :

  • Data documentation: identification and qualification of fields from the Data Lake, enrichment of key metadata (name, definition, management rules, source, update frequency, etc.), with a view to future deployment of a Data Catalog tool.
  • Data Catalog feed: participation in the enrichment and maintenance of the data dictionary.
  • Data quality: work closely with business Data Stewards to address data quality metrics, ensure data quality is reliable, and guarantee that data is properly understood and used by teams.
  • Reconstruction of the Data Lineage: close collaboration with the Data Engineering team to document data flows, from operational sources to consumption layers (datasets, dashboards).
  • Data tool access management: monitoring and follow-up of access requests, control of compliance with established processes (traceability, security, periodic reviews).
Profile sought
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Good command of SQL for data mining and quality profiling.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Dremio, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Data Lake / Hive / Hadoop environments (or similar technologies).
  • Knowledge of Data Catalog principles (e.g. Collibra, DataGalaxy, Informatica, Talend Catalog…).
  • Understanding the dimensions of Data Quality (completeness, uniqueness, consistency, freshness, etc.).
  • Knowledge of data modeling and traceability (data lineage)
  • Sensitivity to safety, traceability and regulatory compliance issues.
